The Directive on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure 2014/94/EU (also known as the CPT Directive) introduces new EU rules to ensure the build-up of alternative refuelling points across Europe with common standards for their design and use, including, fom example, a common plug for recharging electric vehicles. Member States must set and make public their targets and present their national policy frameworks by end-2016.
