The Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology announces the premier scientific conference for biotechnological advances for production of biofuels, bioproducts and biomaterials.

We will have five distinguished plenary speakers over the three-day symposium:

Twelve concurrent sessions will cover a breadth of biotechnology research on biological production of fuels, chemicals and materials in support of developing a robust bioeconomy. Exciting topics of concurrent sessions include lignin valorization, renewable plastics, biomass crop genomics and accelerating the pace of synthetic biology.
