The deadline for application to the TrustXBio innovation challenge is 30 September. The goal of the challenge is to expedite the development of fresh innovations that incorporate digital technological solutions in a way that enhances transparency and fosters public trust in bioenergy feedstocks.

In a series of expert workshops, the Challenge will provide participants with the valuable opportunity to learn how to increase the stakeholder engagement with their concept or a product and train how to pitch their innovative concepts to potential investors.

ETIP Bioenergy Working Group 1 b Biomass supply is organizing this webinar on October 4, as part of the activities of the platform. Intermediate crops are fast growing annual crops that can be cultivated between main food crops or during fallow periods. These crops can provide numerous benefits, including soil improvement, biodiversity enhancement, and serving as a sustainable feedstock for advanced biofuels.

The webinar will provide up-to-date information to set the scene for intermediate crops in the European Union for low-ILUC-risk biofuels, to understand the current state of research, providing also insights to the role and opportunities for farmers.

Agenda and registration

This webinar held on 17 June explored various renewable energy technologies that already are or can be integrated into industrial processes. Industry-specific examples were presented to illustrate their deployment. The webinar also offered the opportunity to exchange with speakers and discuss and reflect on the opportunities that the recently agreed Net Zero Industry Act will create for European RES technologies contributing to the decarbonisation of industrial processes. We're excited to announce that we're finalizing the agenda for the 12th Stakeholders Plenary Meeting of ETIP Bioenergy, which will take place next March in Brussels. We will learn and discuss about industrial deployment of bioenergy and biofuels for the competitiveness of the EU, as well as get insights on research and innovation results from ongoing Horizon Europe projects on biomass supply and conversion, and hear abour citizen's views and societal perspectives on biomass for energy and fuels.
Stay tuned for more updates!
