European Fat Processors & Renderers Association identifies and coordinates the interests of the fat processors and renderers, representing their interests within the EU and in relationship to other international organisations. It promotes contact with scientific and commercial organisations in the field of all relevant sectors such as the chemical and the aquaculture industry and works towards the highest valorisation of animal proteins and fats consistent with the maintenance of assured standards of product safety. It also carries out research in order to demonstrate and improve the value of processed animal proteins and fats and to identify alternative uses and collects relevant information make this available to its members.
