Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia

The Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia was established with the aim to implement part of the regional development policy of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds. The Agency is accredited by the European Commission and has been certified as the implementing and contracting authority for IIb IPA component that includes the cross-border cooperation programmes, two transnational programmes and the national component of regional development of Croatia. Through its Department for Regional Development, the Agency performs administrative coordination of regional development projects. It is in charge of the registers of administrative bodies of local and territorial (regional) governments, agencies and other legal entities established in order to efficiently coordinate and stimulate regional development. Moreover, it performs administrative and professional activities for the Partnership Council of statistical regions. The agency acts also as contact point for all communication activities with the regional coordinators and performs training activities.
