Environmental protection and energy efficiency Fund is founded by Croatian Law for protection of environment and is founded to ensure additional funds to finance projects, programs and similar activities in area of preservation and maintaining, protection and enhancement of environment.

Important goal is to attain energy efficiency and utilisation of renewable energy sources.

Fond is founded as legal person with public authority regulated by law. Republic of Croatia is responsible for functioning of Fund.
