Tecnalia Energy Unit, through its Department of Bioenergy, is studying the possibility of producing biofuels from microalgae, taking advantage of their capacity for absorbing carbon dioxide (CO₂) and with the end goal of reducing emissions and obtaining renewable energy in the form of liquid biofuels.
