One of Central Europe’s largest refiners of crude oil producing unleaded petrol, diesel, heating oil, and aviation fuel as well as plastics and other petroleum related products. Activities include testing of biofuel blends, the construction of a biodiesel production plant at Rafineria Trzebinia and possible equity participation in bioethanol production. The Department of Alternative Sources of Energy & Biofuels deals with legislative and cordination matters relating to the plan of the National Indicative Target implementation in 2008 in Poland as well as monitoring the developing market of biodiesel and other biofuels production in Poland and Europe.
