An innovation company that develops new technologies and concepts for "hard" as well as "soft" products and processes within the transport and vehicle industry. Their primary customers are the Volvo Group companies and Volvo Car. In addition they carry out some strategic programmes and expert functions related to innovation as well as participating in national and international research programs involving universities, research institutes and other companies. Is involved in the BioDME project with Chemrec, in which a fleet of Volvo trucks are being used to road test the advanced biofuel, dimethyl ether, produced from black liquor.
