Mandate on use of Advanced Biofuels
In November 2014, Italy became the first EU MS to mandate the use of advanced biofuels. From, January 2018 gasoline and diesel shall contain at least 1.2 % advanced biofuel, rising to 1.6 % by 2020, and 2 % by 2022.
