ETIP Bioenergy Work Group Members

The Membership of all Working Groups is periodically reviewed, and applications for membership are welcome from experienced biofuels and bioenergy stakeholders. Please e-mail your C.V. to secretariat[@]etipbioenergy.eu, together with a short message summarising your motivation for joining a particular WG. Your details will then be forwarded to the relevant Chair for approval.

The ETIP Bioenergy Steering Committee has agreed that the selection of members of the WGs is based on the following criteria (according to the ETIP Bioenergy ToR):

  • The technical competence of individuals based on their professional profile.
  • Individual commitment to the work involved.
  • Expected technical support from the company or institution (company profile and formal commitment to allocate adequate resources to the task).
  • Recognized records of individuals or companies (previous contributions to the development of advanced bioenergy, e.g. contributions to ETIP Bioenergy, R&I programmes and publications).
  • A diversity of country representation from EU28 since biofuels and bioenergy issues reflect significant regional and sectorial differences.
  • Adequate balance of industry vs. research/public representatives.
In general the appointment to the WGs is a personal appointment. However, since the activity is offered on a voluntary basis and will involve an investment of time and effort, membership also reflects the interest and support of the company or other organisation involved.
